A must if you're in the Sarlat-la-Canéda area. Whether you choose the pigeonnier or the rooms, everything is perfect. Exemplary cleanliness, tasteful decor, excellent bedding and good facilities. Once you've enjoyed the terrace and exceptional breakfast, you'll never want to leave. The region is magnificent and very rich. And what can I say about the kindness and knowledgeable advice of Nelly and Franck, who run the place. We've been coming every year since they opened and we're looking forward to our next vacation to book again.

Our first time in Sarlat and our choice of accommodation at La Bayardine was an excellent one. A very pleasant house, ideally located, run by Nelly and Franck, extremely kind and helpful hosts who listen to and serve their guests. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Copious breakfasts are served on a large terrace with an unobstructed view. Jams and yoghurts are homemade.
Nelly and Franck also know their region very well and are very good at giving advice.
We were delighted with our stay and will be back as soon as we can.
